Project delayed due to time wasters.

After four frustrating years of Heritage Lottery Fund dithering the project to rescue this stunning piece of British (world?) heritage has taken the decision to stand alone and is now totally reliant on you - the people who gave lottery money in the first place supposedly to help projects such as ours.

Whilst HLF take their peculiar view on 'heritage', Donald Campbell's jet hydroplane, Bluebird is being painstakingly rebuilt to her 1967 configuration by a small team of passionate volunteers.
Unfortunately, passion can't buy materials, services and components. We need your help on this one.
Don't give it to the lottery this week, take the time to send us a Pound, send this page to your mates, family or even  people you don't like. It all adds up.
Any chance of a few Dollars from our American cousins? Tell the hydroplane racers we're asking after them.
Anyone in Australia? Help your old mate, Donald to have his boat returned to the sort of staggering beauty she displayed as she broke the record at Dumbelyung on the last day of 1964.
Anyone else?
Any contribution, however small, will be gratefully accepted and used in its entirity to ensure the successful completion of this project and the return of Donald Campbell's iconic boat to her spiritual home in Coniston, Cumbria, England.

Many Thanks,
The Bluebird Project.
All donations are gratefully received and will receive a personal letter of appreciation
